描述
LT8712X是一款高性能的Type-C/DP1.2转换器，可将USBType-C源或DP1.2源连接至HDMI2.0和VGA汇流器。
LT8712X集成了符合DP1.2标准的接收器、符合HDMI2.0标准的发射器和高速三通道视频DAC。此外，还包括用于CC通信的两个CC控制器，以实现DP Alt模式和功率传递功能，一个用于上游Type-C端口，另一个用于下游端口。
提供两个数字音频输出接口，12S和SPDIF。12S接口支持2通道LPCM,SPDIF接口支持2通道LPCM或8通道压缩音频，都在最大192kHz的采样率:
该设备能够自动操作，这由集成微处理器实现，该微处理器使用嵌入式SPI闪存进行固件存储。系统控制也可通过使用专用配置L2C从站接口。
LT8712X还支持EDID缓冲区、DPeDP输入检测和自动确定进入省电模式。当LT8712X的接收器锁定输入信号时，MCU可以通过MSA寄存器读取恢复的定时参数，以匹配ASSR。DPCD寄存器在调试完整链路训练时可以通过系统12C访问。一旦使用快速链路训练，系统时间将节省至少400ms。

DescriptionThe LT8712X is a high performance Type-C/DP1.2 toHDMI2.0 and VGA converter, designed to connect a USBType-C source or a DP1.2 source to an HDMI2.0 and aVGA sink .The LT8712X integrates a DP1.2 compliant receiver, anHDMI2.0 compliant transmitter and a high-speedtriple-channel video DAC. Also, two CC controllers areincluded for CC communication to implement DP Alt Modeand power delivery function, one for upstream Type-C portand another for downstream port.Two digital audio output interfaces are available, I2S andSPDIF. The I2S interface supports 2-ch LPCM and theSPDIF interface supports 2-ch LPCM or 8-ch compressed
audio, both at maximum 192kHz sample rate.The device is capable of automatic operation which isenabled by an integrated microprocessor that uses aembedded SPI flash for firmware storage. System controlis also available through the use of a dedicatedconfiguration I2C slave interface.LT8712X also support EDID buffer, DP/eDP inputdetection and determine to enter into power saving modeautomatically. When the receiver of LT8712X locks theinput signal, the MCU can read the recovered timingparameters by the MSA registers to match the ASSR. TheDPCD registers are accessible via system I2C whendebugging the full link training. Once the fast link trainingused, system time will save at least 400ms.
