Adafruit I2S Stereo Decoder Breakout Board is a DAC breakout that is a perfect match for any I2S-output audio interface. This fully-featured breakout board is built around the NXP's successful UDA1334A low power audio DAC for advanced audio configurations. The UDA1334A I2S Stereo Decoder breakout uses 3.3V to 5V logic levels and can process multiple different formats by setting two pins to high or low. The UDA1334A DAC processes data immediately and gives a clear analog or stereo line level output. This breakout board uses classic I2S (default), 16-bit, 20-bit, or 24-bit left justified data for the inputs. The I2S Stereo DAC with MCLK-less I2S interfaces such as the Raspberry Pi - a built-in PLL will generate the proper clock from the incoming signal. This breakout board offers a mute pin and a de-emphasis filter that can be turned on for the necessary times.
